We'll have to wait.... If 35 year old Brad Millers are your best FA bet every offseason.... I dunno

Please tell me this is not true. I mean I'm not the biggest ariza fan but ariza was just not the ball handler or shot creator we thought he could be. But an excellent swing man and help spread the floor with a decent 3 point shot. Don't do it Morey

exactly how i feel about it. either i'm really wrong about courtney lee....or the rockets are doing a salary dump while we're talking about "contending."

Difference is they are trading pieces to acquire larger pieces.

We are trading pieces so we can get under the Luxury Tax..............

Trading Ariza as part of bigger deal for a superstar = good. Trading Ariza to save money = trash.

No, Ariza is only a year older.
But yes, Lee has a higher shooting %, and Lee fits in BETTER with this team. Why do we need two of "battiers"? Lee is a GREAT fit, I'm so stoked about this trade. He was a hard-working guy in Orlando and in NJ, and he gives us the playmaking and off-ball abilities thats so important for RA's coaching style.

We had too many wings on the roster, they can not all play....and in order to trade for that superstar, you have to feature the players on your team.

We have too many players and not enough minutes to go around and a hole at the backup SG spot.

This was a move that did all kinds of good and made the team overall better.

Are some of those intangibles dribbling and fumbling, then taking 10 3 point shots in a game?

We need two Battiers to keep perimeter monsters like Kobe and the Miami duo in check. Martin's defense is a joke at best.

Lee's defense is quite good though, I'll give him that.

Everybody keep an open mind....this could be the prelude of a future deal involving some of our expirings and/or trade picks for an upgrade...maybe, maybe not...I think the move was warranted from a business perspective in the sense of shedding contract cap space, but adding a guy who Morey thinks can be a solid contributor to the team....

One question everybody? What did all of you think when we drafted Aaron Brooks in the first round? Probably the same thing and look how that turned out...

The only thing I really don't like about this trade is that Ariza was traded to a western conference team in our division....the trade itself, I will wait to pass further judgment...
