everything that is spelled by the accused is a mistake. Obvious cut and pastes are not, for instance, copying a news article. If DOD can prove he pasted that from an original misspelling, he's OK.

The other thing we may want to do is say that you can't get busted for a typo in a post that was posted before crispee's first post in this thread. I'm sure we can all go back days and months to bust people on typos.

first off, you weren't in the game when you posted "strategery." That was even before you posted in this thread. Secondly, you are not a Senior Poster, yet. There has to be a cut-off somewhere to prevent occasional lurkers from being annoying Spelling Police but not really participating much otherwise; that is, to play you must post. I do believe you are not far from Senior Member. Your time as challenger will come. That's it for rules officiating from me. Let it be an Honor System. Although, I will make one more rule <i>addition</i>: An incorrect accusation of misspelling knocks you out, too.
