I'm in on this... it should at least be fun to bust everyone else for their mistakes. :)

    vesceysux,

why start the game off on such a non-crescent fresh note?

first off, I can't be out of the game until I'm officially in the game. I haven't heard back from anyone with power yet.

those with power, tell me whether or not I can play your reindeer game.

secondly, when I wrote "strategery" in the UT recruiting thread, I was very obviously being sarcastic.

you know. . . UT, austin, george w., "strategery"?

if we can't be sarcastic, the level of wit on the bbs will suffer all on account of this game.

so I have a proposition. we can do like they do in newspapers. if someone means to purposefully misspell a word, they should include the international sign for I'm-purposefully-including-an-error, which is: [sic].

I motion that the [sic] be adopted. you may call it the chievous rule, if you wish. the [sic] sign can serve as an attention-getter, kind of like the band-aid that derrick, half of my namesake, used to wear.

this device can be used to prevent other instances in the future of anyone using the "chievous defense" by saying that they misspelled a word on purpose.

    ROCK!!

Oops... Sorry, chievous minniefield. Didn't realize you weren't in the game. Chalk that up to being a bit too zealous on my part. I like the [sic] idea, though...

I don't care what it is. If you make a dumb mistake like that, you deserve to be thrown out. Serious errors like that are worse than simple typos.

hehe. That was quick. It reminds me of that Seinfeld episode of the masterbation bet where Kramer goes out in like 1 hour. Yeah, change your signature, so we don't track you anymore.

LOL. Oh crap. I knew something was wrong the moment I saw a quick response to this thread. Never should have answered Rimbaud's question. And I really did give it a try as a way to improve my typing concentration and editing. sigh.

Haha. All I have to do is cuss you out or start threads regarding Mo Taylor or Jason Collier. Your words-per-post count goes up, thereby increasing the odds that you will commit an error... muhahahaha!

... and "muhahahaha" is spelled correctly.

Oh, and I guess I'm in.
