Scrabble deals with complicated issues of proper names by calling them outside the boundaries of the game. I'd say this is Honor System, or outside the boundaries. thoughts?
Foreign proper names could cause a lot of problems, but this is a player's name, easily checked. How many times has someone been called out for spelling Griffin with an "e"? I say he dies.

Plus, you get no kill for possessive apostrophe not in the dictionary, unless the accused uses the Honor System. keep it simple...stay patient. We are after real, major, obvious, no technicality death blows in the spirit of the Spelling Police. that said, I think DoD should take himself out for "an" when it was his pet peeve....that is the definition of Honor System, imo.
