They won 34 games in 2008-09 and 2007-08 in Carter's last 2 years. They dropped to 12 games, the next year. It wasn't that big a loss for them at all.
3 months ago, guys were saying Cavaliers would get 30+ wins or get in the playoffs as a 6th seed and that 1 player doesn't matter. They were saying LeBron's supporting cast was good enough to compete against Kobe's and Pierce's supporting cast. They were holding up Jamison and Mo Williams on a pedestal. Even as recently as last month, the Dish had posts about the Cavs winning games. It was such a joke. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=196630
lol....where are those kobe nuthuggers rock4ever and stupidbug? I knew that roster was/is absolutely garbage. The Cavs management were able to get Mo Williams to be Lebron's sidekick? That guy is not an all star and is barely a starter in this league. No doubt Lebron is a freakin douchebag and I absolutely can't stand him, but he has been the best player in the league for the past few years. The Cavs record would be even worse if they didn't start out with a chip on their shoulder.
Lebron just cant keep his mouth shut. Yes the Heat are winning now and playing great basketball. Why can't he just play the game and shut up? He goes out and does more self loving and proclaims they are the Beatles of Basketball by giving themselves a nickname "The Heatles" There is only one thing more lame than referring to your self in the 3rd person and that is giving yourself a nickname. (see Sascha Vujacic)
Damn, I thought they'd be bad, but not this bad. Yeah, they had one of the best records in the league over the past years...but it sure the hell wasn't because of this crap-ass team...
Its because they are selling out arenas everywhere they go. Every one wants to go and see them, either to cheer or boo. You are totally blowing the comment out of context. Also, with all the crow eating in thread, its getting me hungry...
not certain, but i think he was being sarcastic... thats how i read it anyways, seeing as how this thread was about how Lebron is not overrated.
So why can't you tune out his comments, just shut up and watch him play basketball then? You ask something out of others you don't do yourself.
