KD is still really really good right now but he's just so old. Like beyond regular athlete productivity old. The wheels could fall off any minute. It's too risky to give up a lot for him.

I’d only bring in KD if we got Booker too. Then they can have Jalen and all their picks back.

Do we control their 2026 pick too?

Not sure whether we can get them both with league rules, plus we don’t have the $ to eat both. Phoenix cannot aggregate contracts so it would have to be two separate trades and I’m not sure the league would agree to it, since it obviously would be an attempt to get around the rules. We could do it in separate years if we have the $.

We probably can get them both if we package Green + some other players and all their picks back. The suns are going to be incredibly desperate once Golden State passes them up. They know their roster is likely a first round exit anyways.

    FVV/Amen
    Booker
    Durant
    Jabari
    Sengun

This is probably a championship lineup with Udoka coaching. The players can't intimidate our coach like they can with Mike Budenholzer or Frank Vogel. The front office will have Ime's back regardless of if the players complain or not.

Breaking news: Tim Duncan puts Dunkin' Donut as his preferred destination list of morning coffee places.

Phoenix cannot combine assets in a trade. They could do it in two separate trades, but not directly with the Rockets, because that would be considered circumventing the rules. Which will only allowed for the Lakers or GS.

Thank you. It's so infuriating. You're not going to win it all in the first try, this could have been our playoff test season to figure out what more to tweak in the summer.

He only has a few years left, we just passed up on 1/3rd of his remaining years. The absolute perfect experience and skills for us. It's perfect that he's old and our guys are young, that's exactly what we need.

I don't know if I'd go for him this summer. He'll be an expiring contract that you have to extend and he'll want too many years.

    Bittersweet.

Durantula is the guy keeping Phoenix in games and not Jenner lover boy Booker.

Yep the only way to take Durant on this off-season is as a rental. He would have to super cheap for the Rockets to do it, and Durant would have to be willing to limit his extension to 1 year with a team option on the third year. All unlikely.

The Knicks this past offseason signed guys to $1 over the minimum to circumvent rules. The no aggregation rule is designed to prevent teams from combining a bunch of small salaries into one big salary. Teams divide up trades into two two trades all the time to meet NBA rules. It would be one thing if the Suns were using the 2nd trade to aggregate value to make the 1st trade legit. The Rockets deals with the Suns would get the Suns out of the 2nd apron on the first deal and be fine on the second deal.

Wherever Ime Udoka is Trade Rumors follows. Ime Udoka no doubt he is yapping to reporters to stir up trade rumors behind the scenes. Once Rafael Stone figures out Ime Udoka is a Snake he will get Fired.

Can Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown play together? Narrative, Should they be traded?

Yes they can play together and Yes they matured and won a Championship.

Dude has his ring and 30,000 point and is definitely a HOFer but he always comes off as a cranky malcontent. I just don't think winning is that important to him anymore.

You’d hope after his last couple of experiences he’d want to go to a team that he believed would really win.
