Agreed. I don’t see why he would return to a young team that doesn’t have a chance at a title. Unless, he just REALLY loves houston.
Depends on the price. I’m not paying him 40m per year and gonna have to pay that when he’s 38. If he came here at a fair price and decides to play PG, then get it done. Drafting Wemby would be huge… JH, JG, KPJ, Bari, Wemby. (KPJ possibly 6th man if defense is too bad)
Somebody needs to teach these young boys how to drink, party, and go to strip clubs…..would be a great addition.
He is averaging 22 points 11 assists 7 boards while taking almost 10 less shots then the years he averaged 36 points..he is averaging 22 points 13 assists 8 boards on 47 percent from field and 39 percent from the theee point line in the Sixers seven game wining streak. Including a 20 points 21 assists 11 boards game while being guarded by Batums and Kawhi
For all the people saying he's washed, he has been solid this year and would instantly become our most efficient player. Imagine what a pass-first Harden could do for Green, and then we can move KPJ to the bench, unlock Smith, and get a killer 2-man game with Sengun. It makes more sense for both parties than people think, especially if it's a short term thing. You don't want the Rockets to end up a perennial loser like the Kings, where even a mediocre season seems like a huge victory. I'm not saying this is the best way to build this team, but it would absolutely be a positive in terms of wins and development. We won't develop these guys without a veteran PG.
