Are you saying it's okay to be prejudiced in one direction in order to fight prejudice in another?

Perhaps being a bit prejudice now can make up for decades of being prejudice previous.
For decades, blacks, women, Hispanics, etc. were overlooked based on their gender or color. Don't they deserve an opportunity to 'catch up' on those decades of missed opportunity?

Her scores are kept in the same vault as Barack Obama's long-form birth certificate and the tape of Michelle Obama saying "whitey" that T_J was going to find 14 years ago.

Idk. I imagine all the justices have pretty comparable lsat scores…well since whenever the lsat became a thing. Probably somewhere in the 168-175 area.

All the same so why is Sucker Farson so worried about her scores he has shown that he is a total loser in life.

Idk but that's not the subject of the tweet you posted I'm responding to. I don't think that tweet would really produce a compelling "gotcha" like the author seems to think it would.

I'm cool with it. In how many years of Supreme Court Justices there hasn't been an African American woman on the USSC. Now there is going to be one. Again, I have no issues at all with his choice.

As a Native American I was thrilled when Deb Haaland was named Secretary of the Interior. Were there more qualified people? Who knows.

I have no issues at all with Judge Jackson being Biden's favorite choice. He can consider Judge Srinivasan, Judge Childs, or any other judge people on the right seem to have preferred for future openings. Or maybe Judge Koh... who can be the first Asian American woman on the court.

She was such an extremist that even robert bork found her arguments outside the mainstream. But sure, I guess an far right wing wacko can go with this argument as a desperate effort of whataboutism...

I'm starting to agree that we should add new justices or the alternative is this...

The Supreme Court Is Poised To Shift Executive Branch Power To Itself

"It’s a right-wing dream decades in the making."

“If I want to dump chemical waste in a swamp, I’d prefer that the federal government not have power to regulate that,” Julian Davis Mortenson, professor at the University of Michigan Law School, told TPM. “If I want to pay people working in my factory a miserably tiny wage, or employ 12 year-olds, I’d rather the federal government not have the power to make a rule against that.”

commodore is reduced to resorting to senator hawley's press secretary... the same senator who is fundraising using the picture of him saluting the January 6 insurrectionists. Yea... that senator hawley...

Well, hawley's concerns about Judge Jackson would carry more weight had he shown the same concern when roy moore was running for office. But moore was a lot different than Judge Jackson...

@fchowd0311 case in point from other thread...is this prick serious or does he believe in this sexual predator nonsense? Don't hear them complaining about Matt Gaetz or Roy Moore so I have to assume they are not joking. Rule of thumb is if the Republicans say you're doing something inappropriate or illegal check them because they're probably doing the same or worst.

So the gameplan from the GOP is obviously to cast judge Jackson as a child sexual predator sympathizer.

Josh Hawley's diatribe just now is disgusting.
