    I can only imagine how hard it is to bury your child/children period, let alone weeks before Christmas. Smh, my thoughts and prayers go out to those families.

    i don't see the problem with arming teachers responsibly... it beats letting kids get targeted like fish in a barrel.

    Or more likely hit some other kid. Have you ever shot a gun? Unless it is a .22 caliber, which probably wouldn't have penetrated the guys armor, there is a lot of kick back. I doubt someone whose heart is raising would be be accurately be able to shot a person.

    To those taking such offense to the fact that ALL gun owners are collectively responsible for this tragedy, unless you have kids, you are NOT even in a position to disagree. Now is NOT the time to make pro gun arguments. Show a little respect. It is a time for condolences. And for figuring out how to get these guns OFF our streets. These are our children for crying out loud!

    God you are so ****ing naive. A valid argument I would concede is having extra guns in the form of extra police officers or security...but with teachers having to use guns in an elementary school setting? Wtf is wrong with you?

    Give me a break. Multiple guns around children as a barrier to a nut with guns around children.

    Anyways, in the interest of keeping this in the Hangout, what a tragedy. Condolences for the victims.
