I like Bill and his commentating. What is frustrating me this season is that he is getting a lot of his information incorrect. It's just little things, like calling the wrong persons name or the number of fouls they are on. As someone who pays attention to detail it frustrates me, especially when no one corrects him, but maybe it's just me and my hang ups.
Moonscope: I thought he always got his information incorrect... We laugh at Harpring for confusing DMo and Papa for half the game. But (bad as they are), at least they figured it out. Bill just ploughs on...

I have to say the Heat announcers are very good, not as homerish as ours, but i have no problem with Bill here's why. He's a fan just like you and I. He wears his emotions on his sleeve. So what if he is a homer, when you watch Rockets basketball on the home network, you want them to agree with you right?
bill has earned the right to retire whenever he wants, regardless of how terrible he is today and Bull does a decent job of balancing him out, Bull is one of the best in the biz in terms of local broadcasting team imo.
you guys should not be whining about homer commentators. The other end of the spectrum is MUCH MUCH worse bill is a rockets legend.
