I think Delirious was waaaaay funnier than Raw...just my opinion.

Best movie is Coming to America. Sad that he actually peaked that long ago.

His best work by far was his earliest: 48 hours and Beverly His Cop.

Trading Places is pure genius. The following is one of my top 10 funniest film scenes of all time...

Trading Places was an easy pick for me. Besides being one of Murphy's best flicks, and one of Dan Aykroyd's, one gets to witness the perfection of Ms. Jamie Lee Curtis and her magnificent breasts. A near perfect film is the result.

I remember going to the movies to watch Sixth Sense, only to find out it was all sold out. Instead we watched Bowfinger, which we knew nothing about, and found it do be pretty damn funny. But I think its one of those movies that if you have no expectations at all, its pretty good, but if you're expecting something like Coming to America or Beverly Hills Cop you'd be disappointed.

I've seen a lot of commentary on how 48 Hours was revolutionary for black actors.

trading places is one of the greatest movies ever made. also possibly the greatest movie about the late 20th century "american experience"...it touches on so many important issues...racism and prejudice, class differences, economic disparity (poverty vs. old-money wealth/privilege), wall street hustle/swindlers, the american dream
