In Operation Desert Storm, the coalition was huge and our main allies pitched in like champs. That analogy applies here. In 2001 the U.S. went cowboy and blew our credibility indefinitely. Our allies made the correct decision, except Britain.

Not exactly. The US Admin has been critical of what is going on in Bahrain but they are faced with a far more delicate situation given that Bahrain is an ally. I suspect there will be some sort of diplomatic push for reform in Bahrain.
