Berkman was on 2nd base with 2 outs, they had to PR him so they have a chance to score on a hit. Lamb was taken out after the 8th inning so Berkman can play 1st base and have someone with more range to close out the game in the OF. I agreed with the Lamb move, and I understand the Berkman move, but the team would look A LOT better now with Berkman in the lineup.
