    Who wins and why?

I believe that the Astros will take this series in 5 games. It is going to go down to the wire, but our pitching will prevail. Thier lineup is head and shoulders better then ours, but pitching is what wins and we have the cream of the crop. We have a better 1 2 3 punch with starting pitching and our bullpin is stronger then thiers as well. It will be close but we will pull it out again. Go Stros!

    lol good repost :p

hmm I dunno about individual games, but hoping to definitely take 1 out of 2 in ATL.

I'd say LW for the first two and astros win in 4, sweeping both at home

Stros take the series in 4.

We got some ballas on our pitching staff. Too good for the Braves.

    And Beltran cries.

I see a sweep. The only game that i think that we will be in trouble will be the game 3, but anyways its a sweep. And Cards lose to Padres :p

yeah the dreaded TBD. he has nasty stuff. :p seriously though, oswalt is obviously one of the better pitchers in baseball and head and shoulders above whoever the braves throw-out game 3. right now that's probably the game i have least concern with. if we can scratch out some runs against hudson and smoltz, big-game andy and roger should get the job done and it's possible we sweep. i think we win in 4, we like to make it interesting. :)

Good guys in four, but it's going to be tough. Atlanta's team is built alot like ours: great starting pitching, rising stars mixed in with still dependable veterans and superb coaching. I think this team has the chance to really been special.....but probably not for a few years til their young guys really come into their own.

Smoltz arm problems could be the key. If he cannot pitch in his usual dominant way and we can take game 2, that could be a backbreaker for them and we should be able to take the games back here. Plus, they (like the Cardinals) have looked very flat the past 2 weeks since clinching......we've got big mo on our side and we are rollin'.

If smoltz and Hudson are on, they are better than us because of the hitting. Gonna be a hard fought battle to the end. Astros sweep.
