Yea, but Smoltz will be going too....I wasn't a fan of using Backe in this game...stakes were too damn high and we blew it.

 

I thought Smoltz wont pitch...

 

Backe is getting NO calls and his youthful aggression has worked against him.

We need to make HUDSON WORK !!!! Quit swinging at his junk.....use up his arm.

No it would not be Smoltz. He can't pitch on 3 days rest. Haracio Ramirez would pitch, I think.

 

If you REALLY think Smoltz won't suck it up and pitch, you're fooling yourself.

 

Please... Smoltz is going to pitch that game. No reason to send Hudson today if that was the case.

I second that...what in the world was he thinkin? With the way Hudson is throwing, to give up a 4 spot on one swing is ridiculous. But thats what we get for throwing Backe in the biggest game of the year.

Bobby Cox said yesterday he doubts Smoltz will start a game 5 but he can maybe pitch a inning or 2. Ramirez or Thomson will most probley start.

 

Well...they will be facing elimination tomorrow as well.

 

Well I really didn't give it that much thought. I don't care that much.

 

Now that we have to pitch Andy tommarow, we can't use him in game 1 in NLCS if we make it there.

 

All our young guys get burned by walks, Backe...Wandy...Astacio...all of them....

I wish our guys would show more patience and let them walk some of our guys.....use up Hudson's arm, he is working on short rest.....

A grand slam...that SUCKS !!!
