    Any one else think the ump was being a little more leniant with the strike zone for Smoltz than is with Roger?

    no, Roger intenionally misses the strike zone... he doesn't mind going 3-2 on guys one bit.

    i'm just talking about watching the first two and then swinging away when you're about to get owned with a slider (happy Svpernaut :) ). most of the people that swing and miss on lidge's slider also swung and missed on strike one and strike two.
