Heh, I went home to watch the game, so I left work early.... well after the 7th I went back to finish some work, and now it looks like our bullpen is trying to make it interesting. Woohoo, double play!! Nice win!!
well the rules state somebody has to be out there pitching so we gotta burn somebody. and if they all suck, we gotta burn them until one doens't suck.

Yes... and "roughing" up the Houston bullpen. Hey Steve and Eric... they got TWO (count 'em... two) runs off the bullpen in 3 innings. That's a blowout win... no momentum... Lidge will be just fine (frankly, a little tune-up, after being off for 3 days might actually BENEFIT him).
Russ Springer is completely worthless. Didn't Phil garner learn this last year? He shouldve used Qualls.
If thats the damage that atlanta is going to give us in the whole series, so i would take it every blow out.

On the contrary, guys like Springer and Gallo are REALLY valuable... if you're pitching in blowout games. That way, their mistakes don't cost you... and Gallo actually may be our best "blowout game" pitcher. I remember he got the 3rd out last year in game 5, and maybe even got it in game 1 as well. Qualls is our 3rd best bullpen pitcher, and our possible lefty-specialist. Who cares if we win by 5 runs vs. 7 runs... we won, and we didn't have to use Lidge.
If the Astros win tomorrow (Go Rocket!), this will be over Saturday. I think tomorrow is gonna be a nail biter. At least the Braves don't have Glavine anymore...
