Astros vs. Braves

I'd definitely take a "quality" start for Andy today (6 IP, 3 ER or less).... but he'll have to go thru that 2-3-4 of the ATL lineup to do it.

 

Adam just needs a little more power doesn't he

 

Adams hit the ball hard twice and has nothing to show for it

 

His first ball would have been off the brick facade in Houston.

Turner Field is a pitcher's haven... and the wind is supposedly blowing in today (which really shows how well the Jones boys hit Andy's two pitches that were begging to be crushed).

Only 6 pitches for Hudson in the 6th (to bring his per inning average down to respectable 14).

 

6 pitch inning!! We need some insurance!! Or at least another inning without giving up any runs from Andy.

 

Andy needs to get through this 6th inning and the next time the Jones boys come up might be against Lidge

 

1 quick on,getting Giles out was nice.

The problem with that is Franco has great #'s off Pettite... I say attack, just don't leave it right over the plate like he did last time.

 

what is with the outside corner. that 2nd pitch to andruw was a strike. it was closer than the first strike to adam. come on.

 

Bobby Cox eventually always gets his way with the managers as the game goes on... its like he has dirty pictures of all of them.
