Hey Braves... its not the 90's... you don't get those crazy-ass-strike zone calls anymore.

 

pettitte threw 2 straight pitchers closer than that 3rd strike to morgan and both were called balls. bs.

 

Ughhhhh Hudson finding his control.

 

Petitte is going to get a full 5 minutes of rest while the Astros bat.

 

Looks like Hudson is calming down...I wish we could have tacked on a few more runs when we had a chance.

 

I <3 Lane but hes looked awful today.

 

Lane sucks. He doesn't seem to know what he's doing at the plate half the time. He's just swinging up there. Anybody can swing up there... (seinfeld rant).

 

Yea... but that's being a little bit too optimistic. Remember, we weren't supposed to be scoring any runs of Hudson/Smoltz.

4 runs off Hudson, with Pettite pitching, should be plenty... and if its not, this team cannot expect to make a deep run into the playoffs.

 

Damn It! Time to bear down Andy ... 4 might need to be enough to do it!

 

We need 7 from andy. Then hope Qualls and Lidge get the job done.

 

At least he gets to face the 8-9-1.
