Man, some of the Garmites would die from shock if they spent a few days in the muck with D&Deviants.

They think Cyber got attacked...boy howdy!

No I'm not, that thread was just one tiny example of the many already burning piles of trash posts ranging from the insider incidents to the rocpaint/swoly feud, and everything in between. And that's just recently. I wouldn't have made a thread in here for one incident as one doesn't make it a syndrome.

How hard is it for people to say "man thats terrible hope he gets well" and move on? If someone ssaid that to you in person, would your response be "he got morey'd"? Are people that socially inept they dont know how to empathize?

Lolz. It's funny because most everyone in this thread had no idea what the op was actually about.

And then in true mob mentality fashion, they started piling on cyberx. Meanwhile, most of the posters talking about how silly it is that he gets "defended" would probably be among the first few to go on a nostalgia fueled tirade if anyone were to question doc rocket.

I have some sort of mystifying condition that prevents me from spelling that word correctly. Perhaps I need to eat more french fries? Spinach? Magic mushrooms? Usually I'll catch it and edit, but not always. This is getting ridiculous.

I usually remember JJ Redick's name and then think that's now how you spell it, and misspell it anyway.

For the love of God, keep them out of the Hangout and the D&D. As ridiculous as it sounds, lurking in the D&D actually gives me SOLACE from the GARM.

And put me in the crowd that says CyberX simply loves the attention he gets on here (I can't imagine him getting much love in the world of scumbag agents and snake-oil salesmen), and he wouldn't ever permanently leave. I appreciate his nuggets of information, and think he really is doing us a huge favor by filling us in on what's going on, but it's definitely a mutually beneficial arrangement. We get a true "insider" on the board, and he gets to have his ego stroked.

Oh yeah, that's a great trade off... At the end of the day, I don't know who cyber really is, but if he disappears, that's it.

No kidding these "insiders" like the attention, what other reason would they provide any info after all this time?

There really is some value he provides versus other "insiders", so it's a given people will rush to defend him.

I don't read that thread all the time. I don't even think game changing news should be broken before the Rockets seal the deal. It just makes the board a little more interesting, but I get that people have to whine or act jaded when they get bored with novelty.

    Enjoy it while it lasts.

I don't remember the last time I entered the cyberx thread. It was so long ago.

For one, I am less and less interested in trade rumors. I've said it in various times that I have become numb to the constant roster turnover. I know it provides lots of excitement to many people here. To me, it makes me feel less and less attached to the team. and hence less and less excited about winning, or pissed about losing. In short, it makes me care less and less.

Not everybody has the same sense of humor. If you're butthurt and upset that people didn't laugh at your stupid joke, then tell a better joke next time.
