    I think this whole rumor is just a play on of "Morey's small trade" that was mentioned in another article.

    Hmmmm. Sounds like the Rockets are using their plants in the media to tamp down this thread and keep things quiet before the big trade. ;)

    1) Denver is run and gun, and he gives himself the green light, so I would expect a high # of points. When adjusted for minutes and pace, his assist totals are similar to Alston, and his 3pt% last year was lower than Alston. AI shoots much better from 2pt (and FT), so for now he would be a definite upgrade in that category. Although keep in mind that run and gun teams often shoot fairly well because of the easy shots that are occurring on both ends of the floor (guys are leaking out on the break).

    2) Mike James is younger than Iverson. Mike James had his best year in Toronto, and has been garbage ever since. Granted the work ethic might not be the same, but it gives one reason to worry.

    What my eyes saw last year was an AI last year that took (and made) alot of shots, but didn't seem to be the driving force behind whatever success Denver was having on the floor, like a Tony Parker, Chris Paul, or Steve Nash.

    like how are you gonna a thread and say you heard it from 2 people and it doesn't have any legs to it at all. i think 610 know a little bit more than persia, so that all i got to say in this thread

    It's not only about the points but the minutes played. He ranked #1 in MPG last season. Which to me is no indication of slowing down. At least not very soon.

    the funny thing is that we never seen Persia's message after his 1st post, and then all of sudden, he showed up from nowhere and started b****ing at you after we found out the "rumor" is bs.........

    Leave the guy alone, he said it was a rumor he heard. I doubt 610 knows anything more than we do here. We'll just have to wait and see.

    According to his sources it is supposed to go down NLT thursday. We aren't being mean to the guy it's the fact that you shouldn't post a new thread unless you have a link or inside information on this topic which he doesn't so... If i have to be a rookie so should he!!

    Psh, more like Morey used his level 39 black magic spell and telepathically controlled the radio station and said that it wasn't true. It's just another smokescreen.
