I think he's got plenty left in the tank. And I know i'm just basing this on stats but the guy has a very motivated motor.

Cap space on good teams is actually not overrated. When is the last time a pretty good team had available cap space to go after someone? When is the last time a team with free cap space had a player like Yao, as opposed to a roster full of scrubs?

We are in win now mode too, so why would we ship Battier to a team where he could put them over the top? Yeah, he has more value if you include teams that we would never trade him to.

Why do people try to put Battier into this elite class of players? I've read where he could put Denver over the top. Are you kidding? Didn't Battier play on a grizzlies squad that couldn't win a playoff game? Isn't this the same battier that scored 22 in game 1 then avg 7ppg in the other 5? I don't think Denver would do it, but making Battier out to be the key. Iverson for anyone not named tracy and yao isn't even debateable.
