Actor Mark Wahlberg is seeking a pardon for violent crime he committed aged 16

Oh, wasn't aware of this terrible word. I am a simple fellow from a village. In this case, I think Wahlberg should be in jail with no pardon. It is bad enough punching a guy's eye out because he is foreign, much less using offensive words like this. I can't bring myself to say such a word. It is very mean spirited. I have Asian friend.

Can we get pardons for crimes we committed when we were young too? If not, I don't see why Mark Wahlburg should get one.

 

Don't think Marky Mark should get a pardon, but it's also stupid how a previous felony stops him from getting a license to operate a restaurant. There should be a statute of limitations or good behavior for that sort of thing.

he gets the pardon. He was 16 and got into a fight. Just because he won the fight and beat someone's ass doesn't make him a legit criminal. It was so long ago there is no reason not to expunge this from his record.
