It's absolutely disgusting what he did. Not too get too D&D, but I think if circumstances were different for his background, things would be MUCH different and people would judge him much harshly. I wouldn't pardon him.

 

Nope. I think Babel deserved that year's Best Picture award. I also think the Departed followed Infernal Affairs too closely to be worth the praise it got. Perhaps the Academy awarded Scorsese for Goodlfellas getting passed over for BP in 1991 to Dances with Wolves?
