Those other guys are past 30. Parker is only 27 atm.

But the first group is what i'm saying.

First. Dwill, CP3, and Kobe are all world.

Westbrook, Evans, Curry, and Collison have not hit their prime yet and IMO all of them are clearly better than AB besides Curry.

Billups and Nash are pushing it, especially Nash. Nash is 36, you expect him to go downhill soon like Shaq but he still produces. Billups also.

It will be very hard I agree for AB to get in just on his competition. He has to rise his entire game to another level next year.

Really? I think that Curry is the best out of that young PG crop.
The only guy I would clearly put above Brooks in that list is Curry, and Westbrook.

Westbrook is great but will never be more than a 8-9mil/year type of guy unless he learns how to shoot, Collison has only had a few games so defenses havent adjusted to him and hes playing in the most PG centered offense and hes putting up massive TO numbers.

Evans? Im just not sold on Evans. I don't think he will EVER be a first option, he might a one or two all star games in his prime but I think hes only got a Steve Francis outlook for the future.

Let me explain why i'd put those 3 clearly over Brooks right now.

Westbrook- Athletically he can do anything Brooks can and more, skill wise he's just a better player. His shot is not perfect but shooting ability for a PG is overrated quite frankly. He doesn't need to be a dead eye shooter (just look at Rose and Kidd earlier in his career)

Collison has had more than a few games, he's been playing for like half the season now. Teams are not adjusting to him. I don't think in NBA there is a such thing as 'Adjusting' to a player like that. If they haven't done it yet I don't see them doing it suddenly.

Also the turnovers. A lot of assist heavy PGs have a lot of turnovers. It was either Kidd or Nash that said "You can't be afraid to make the pass..." because these PGs are making passes that are not there essentially.

Evans. Well Francis in his prime was a all-star roy player. Nothing off the court suggest that Evans is just going to fall off the cliff like Francis did. IF Francis had continued his play he would have continued going to the All-star games. He didn't and it's not fair to doom Evans to that. The only thing he's shown personality wise is that he likes having the ball...and nothing is wrong with demanding the ball when you are the first option for your team.
