I am no Nancy Pelosi fan but the House of Representatives is not responsible for the loss of the trial.

The Democrats knew they were going to lose on impeachment because the country is so divided down party lines.

It is amazing that the Democrats peeled off as many Republicans as they did, and that was only because the evidence was so overwhelming and the offense was so serious.

It was a black and white situation and they kept it cut and dry on purpose.

Obviously there wasn't very much there...if so than he would not have been acquitted, no?

No. You are a moron. In every past impeachment trial of a President in this country, it has been a partisan vote.

Here, we also had a pretty large partisan vote. All Dems voted to convict. Let’s say they were purely partisan votes. Just as the republicans who voted to acquit. That leaves seven republicans who voted to convict. They were the objective people in the room and they convicted.

Moreover, remember, Mitch McConnell voted to acquit based solely on the fig leaf of a constitutional argument. His speech made it abundantly clear the evidence was there.

    You moron,

    Moron,

Nothing the Dems do with respect to DJT can be considered objective. Seriously. Moron.

    Moron, you moron.

If you watched, you would have seen there was plenty of evidence. It was pretty plain and apparent. The erroneous check mark wasn't a factor at all.

    Signs you're in a Cult:

    1) Leaders demand unquestioning and unconditional obedience from members.

    2) Leaders are not accountable to anyone else, their deliberations are secret.

    3) The same leader has been running the group since it started, or leadership has passed to family or confidants.

    4) Members who leave are harassed, or emotionally blackmailed.

    5) Members are kept from forming relationships outside the group.

    6) Non-members are regarded as morally suspect.

    7) Recruiting new members is a mandatory activity.

    8) Members are required to spend most of their time on group activities.

    9) Members have to consult group leaders on even minor decisions.

    10) Members have to give large sums of money to the group.

You think team Trump has an advantage in credibility!?

I posted references to the evidence. It was credible. None of the words or message was changed. That is fact. The idea that you are unwilling to look at that evidence because of a check mark makes it difficult to see what ground you have to stand on regarding the impeachment.

care to actually read what I wrote? I assumed Dems were not objective. Note, the impeachment vote was also bar partisan with republicans voting to impeach. My point stands.

Forget about the trial, what is your perception about these comments (paraphrased) from Trump during his presidency?

A handful of NFL players kneel during the anthem

    Trump - "Fire the SOBs"

    Rioting during the Floyd event

Trump - "When the looting starts, the shooting starts"

    Rioting at the Capitol

Trump - "It's time to go home. We love you. You're special people. Remember this day"

They'll never really die. I've seen that meme since that time dub**** destroyed the world economy with Repug ideals.

Because of our duopolistic system, they're pretty much the "other party" with a third-party platform.

Amazing how blatant the republicans are in their efforts to change laws simply to defend trump...
