You don't think replacing the league's worst player with an All-star -- who's better offensively and defensively -- in a series that went all 7 games would make a positive difference in the outcome. Okay.
WE'RE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES AGAIN AND WE'RE GONNA WIN IT THIS YEAR AND WE WILL BE IN THE WORLD SERIES AGAIN AND WE'RE GONNA WIN IT THIS YEAR AND WE WILL BE IN THE WORLD SERIES AGAIN AND WE'RE GONNA WIN IT THIS YEAR AND WE WILL BE IN THE WORLD SERIES AGAIN !!!!
Sick feeling in my stomach when I checked the score last night and it was 10-0. We go 1-3 at home in the ALCS and we're celebrating a WS this week. Ugh....
Once we were out I just really didnt care much. I watched some of GM1 but then I checked out again. I'm in Phoenix so I was rooting for the snakes, I knew it was a longshot. Not being in Texas, if TX does go on to win I'll have to hear very little about it which is nice. I think we bounce back but it'll be interesting to see how TX does next year.
I agree. age of 2017 Astros: Altuve 27 Correa 22 Springer 27 Bregman 23 Verlander 34 Morton 33 McCullers 23 Keuchel 29 2023 Rangers: Semien 32 (Altuve) Seager 29 (Correa) García 30 (Springer) Jung 25 (Bregman) Eovaldi 33 (Morton) DeGrom 35 (Verlander) Montgomery 30 (Keuchel) Gray 31 (McCullers) Now, the Rangers have some other good young players; Carter, Taveras, Duran, and Langford are all potential stars and under 25, and they have some very high ceiling pitching prospects. But I just don’t think they’re built like the Astros were. Of course their owner might be far more willing to spend than Crane has been. We’ll see, but I wouldn’t bet on them as multi-championship team over the next 10 years.
