It sucks, we could have been playing the D-Backs in the World Series, and I would have liked our chances there.
Was totally set up for Astros to repeat. Playing the worst NL team in World Series that they beat easily during the season. The elimination hurts even worse now. I think the Rangers are little more battle tested, defeating the defending champion & division rival. They got to be the favorites. D-backs can be playing with "nothing to lose" swagger now that might make them a little looser heading in
Rob Manfred WBC made Latin Players Tired, Injured, Fatigued continue into the Season. Rob changed Rules Pitch Clock, Bigger Bases. Interfering Fight with Ridiculous Suspensions. Wild Card Format Expansion. The Least Watched Teams are in the World Series. The Best Record Teams don't go the World Series anymore ever since World Series Marlins Josh Beckett, Miguel Cabrera etc Wild Card Teams make it most of those years. This is the World Series Result Rangers vs Diamondbacks with the WBC, Rule changes. Fox Broadcasters are literally going to be bored Lol Rob Manfred deserves this L
Brent Strom over Dusty Baker All Day. Such a Dumb Decision keeping Dusty Baker. Brent Strom really is a Nice Guy, Dusty Baker does have Nepotism in Playing really Old Players over Younger Talent which costed his Job.
I am surprised the Phillies lost, I don't give the Dbacks much of a shot but hey, they made it in so I will root for them to crush the souls of DFW.
This sucks yall. Arlington is going to get a Title, and you know the ****s are going to say they're "Tied with Titles" with the Stros because "2017 dOeSnT cOuNt"
This one is agonizing. The D'Backs are a great story and a fun underdog to cheer for(especially with Strom and Yuli's brother there). And I always enjoy Philly's fanbase suffering. But that's where my satisfaction ends. The Rangers will be heavily favored. The Astros only needed to win one damn home game to return to the World Series where they'd be overwhelming favorites to repeat. Especially with home field "advantage" over an 84-win D'Backs team. This reminds me a lot of the 2018 Rockets. Up 3-2 with two chances to knock off the Warriors which effectively would've clinched the title given how bad that 2018 Cavs team was. Such a missed opportunity. Oh well, I'll pull hard for the D'Backs. I really hope they pull off the upset. Short of a repeat for the Astros, that would've been my favorite outcome heading into this postseason.
I got nothing against the Diamondbacks. That being said, if they apply the same concept they did to the Phillies, they'll beat the ****ing Rangers. Plus, I'll root for Gurriel's brother to get a ring.
