 After about an hour of watching Jordan youtube clips of him in the playoffs my curiousity of watching hakeem and his greatness vs michael and his has risen to a level where I want to know other opinions. In my opinion, michael and his bulls never faced a center with the dominance that the dream possessed.. I imagine that most of you could imagine that our rocks would have faced Air Jordan one if not both years if he had remained in the league. So what do ya'll think honestly? How would our championship teams have faired against what everyone considers to be the most dominant dynasty maybe ever in the league?

No matter what team MJ goes to, there's always a Rocket's center to block his attempts.

The first three peat Bulls team would have gave the Rockets more competition IMO because of Grant and Cartwright. Make no mistake, Dennis Rodman was a helluva defender/rebounder for them in the 2nd repeat, but Olajuwon would have destroyed Luc Longley and every big man they had at that time.

The most intriguing match up would have been Pippen v. Horry IMO because Horry was becoming an All-Around player during that championship run.

let me break down all that is wrong here:

    1. the Rockets play the Bulls every year.

    2. Olajuwon and Jordan came to the NBA the same year. Therefore they have faced each other many times.

    3. both years? This is the biggest urban legend that has turned into truth for people.

    Thank you.

MJ defeated Patrick Ewin's NY when Patrick was picking while Hakeem defeated NY's too. For sure Patrick was not Dream, but he's close.

    He's no where near Hakeem.

Look, don't be embarrassed, I never talk about seeing Wilt Chamberlain play, so people who never saw Hakeem play, please don't pretend to know.

    thanks.

Ewing was probably the the threshold where "elite center" starts. But not MVP level play from Shaq/Admiral and especially Dream.

Another false assumption is the MJ never lost in the playoffs.
This is more an insult to the rest of the NBA.

    1989-90 NBA Chicago Bulls* 55 27 .671 2 2.74 112.3 109.0 Lost Eastern Conference Finals Jackson (55-27)
    1988-89 NBA Chicago Bulls* 47 35 .573 5 2.13 109.1 107.7 Lost Eastern Conference Finals Collins (47-35)
    1987-88 NBA Chicago Bulls* 50 32 .610 2 3.76 109.0 105.5 Lost Eastern Conference Semifinals Collins (50-32)
    1986-87 NBA Chicago Bulls* 40 42 .488 5 1.27 108.6 107.6 Lost Eastern Conference First Round Collins (40-42)
    1985-86 NBA Chicago Bulls* 30 52 .366 4 -3.12 108.6 112.4 Lost Eastern Conference First Round Albeck (30-52)
    1984-85 NBA Chicago Bulls* 38 44 .463 3 -0.50 108.7 109.6 Lost Eastern Conference First Round Loughery (38-44)

this is the textbook example of nba brainwashing of fans.

I think some Haitian guy was talking to me at a bar about this topic then I told him I had to go home and finish some chores.

to be fair he only played like 20 games or so, and then the playoffs.

but screw it, he was there!

    go watch those games again.
Tell me exactly how they lost again to the Magic, then you have your answer to this NBA brainwashing.

Jordan only left for one full season.. he returned during our second championship and lost in the playoffs to the Magic even though he had one of his best playoffs ever (stat wise).
