I mentioned their X account a couple of posts later although I didn't know if it was accurate yet. Still seems odd why it would be done when leaving all other videos of this particular interview and press conferences where he gives thanks to Jesus https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/...d-qb-ohio-state.319554/page-208#post-15027631
Listen to this clown.. no wonder PFF hates Stroud.., imagine docking a QUARTERBACK for wanting to sit in the pocket and go through his progressions instead of taking off and running after your first read is covered
CJ Stroud is 8-1 against Winning teams since Wk 2. Only loss by 3. Game had 2 missed field goals from Ammendola a kicker picked off the street. One of which to send the game to OT. Betting Line for this game is Outrageous. CJ against Winning teams 18 TD's to 2 Int's on the year. I expect him to go off on Saturday. Number 1 defense or not. Historically, he plays extremely well.
Wow, what a video! CJ is such a good kid. I hope CJ can get us to the Super Bowl and win it all someday soon. The season he’s having right now (which is only his first season) is not a fluke… it’s not just football to him, it’s his MINDSET. Off topic, but he’s making me want to be an even better person, and he’s making me want to have a better mindset on everything in life and to not give up and to work harder than ever. I can’t lie, there are days where I feel depressed and like a failure because I’m not particularly where I want to be in my life right now career and success wise, and it doesn’t help when most of all my friends are successful and making a lot of stable consistent money, already bought homes, and settled and have kids too. But I always try to be optimistic and I always try to believe everything happens for a reason and no matter the struggle, I am blessed because I am healthy. As CJ said in the video, “life is a blessing when you do things the right way”. Thank you CJ, for giving me some light, an extra amount I needed this morning. What a video. You are different and I hope you always give us a chance on and off the field. “4 years ago I only had $10 in my pocket, and I was sleeping on a mat, and didn’t have a blanket; I was wearing sweats” — CJ Stroud
I posted this very same documentary in this thread about 10 days ago but it can never be posted enough times. Such a well done piece and you get to see the chemistry CJ and Tank have (can't wait to watch them play together again next season). Also the words of advice Stroud gives to the college players, how he treats fans and the chefs helping the crew, etc. And to think he was just 21 years old when this was filmed. Wise beyond his years.
Not sure how much you can take from this but apparently he follows quite a few Texans and mentions them alot
I assume his folks/family are still outside of Baton Rouge (Ventress, LA)...would sure make it easier for them to see a bunch of his games
He's from central Louisiana so there might be a Houston-Louisiana connection somewhere in his life since that part of the state is tied to Houston in many ways.
