This is a fun thread to read from the beginning. There were some pretty polarizing takes on CJ.

 

Isn't it considered the same as a swear word? Curious... Wonder if they were worried about a fine.

I've heard this said before and it was in regards to his interview with SVP where apparently SVP was getting annoyed at CJ for praising Jesus.

 

Tua used to do it all time at Bama. Has he stopped? Jim Harbaugh does it as well.

 

Dude should be able to thank God and Jesus all he wants.

Agree. In a society where Lil Nas X can do whatever he wants at least don't edit 2 seconds off the man's interview for thanking whomever he believes in.

 

I wonder where this edited version came from because the video on NBC's site still has him thanking Jesus. Seems like someone on the internet is trying to make an issue about someone who is extremely popular right now for the funs. Or is this X post from some sort of satire account?

Was it edited or is it some troll with their own edited version of the post-game interview? NBC still has the interview on their site with him thanking Jesus and saying god bless at the end of the video. IDK

 

Good point, always take things with a grain of salt in today's world, too easy to troll.

 

CJ has been serious and upfront about his Christian Faith for the entire season in every interview (and good for him, however which way he wants to roll, personally, is his own thing).

Not sure why anyone would censor it now. Or care? Or make this a thing?

 

I know and agree which is why I find it so odd. All of his interviews where he says god bless or gives thanks to Jesus are on NBC's site so I doubt NBC is trying to erase Jesus from CJ. I saw on some site (don't know if it is legit) that this originated from their twitter account so maybe some idiot troll there (NBCsports X account). I don't know, it makes no sense.


We have something shiny and awesome and I want it to be left alone. Especially during CJ's and the Texans first journey to the Super Bowl
