He's a rental for 29 teams so his value is low. Miami doesn't want him enough to pay him the max next year and give up anything of value on top of that - he's just not worth it. Whatever interest they have will be whatever leftover money they have and if he really wants to come that bad he'll take it. Otherwise he'll sell himself to the highest bidder - which won't be the max and it won't be from Miami. Unless they take back a bad contract (which they won't), he's staying with the Rockets
yeah, especially Horton-Tucker (btw, he sounds like a character straight out of a Dr. Seuss book). Why would the Lakers care if they lose him? They need to win rings this year, next year. Lowry helps them do that A LOT. If that Raptors take him for that, crazy for the Lakers to hold off.
