3 things that make trading him harder than normal. 1) He's coming off an injury 2) Expiring contract that thinks he's worth the max 3) Wants Miami life Any team that is even thinking about him has this in mind. He's a rental for 29 teams so his value is low. Miami doesn't want him enough to pay him the max next year and give up anything of value on top of that - he's just not worth it. Whatever interest they have will be whatever leftover money they have and if he really wants to come that bad he'll take it. Otherwise he'll sell himself to the highest bidder - which won't be the max and it won't be from Miami. Unless they take back a bad contract (which they won't), he's staying with the Rockets
yeah, especially Horton-Tucker (btw, he sounds like a character straight out of a Dr. Seuss book). Why would the Lakers care if they lose him? They need to win rings this year, next year. Lowry helps them do that A LOT. If that Raptors take him for that, crazy for the Lakers to hold off.
Depends on the scraps. If it's like two seconds I'd take my chance on getting more in a S&T after the season.
We should have kept Levert. He would have been easier to flip even if we had to wait till the summer to do it because of his surgery.
It's cutting it real close. Doing a solid is one thing; but not at the expense of losing out. By Miami being wishy washy, hope we didn't lose out on better opportunities. Darn it Kyle!
