BYU is torqued up for the BIG 12. I'm not surprised LSU lost. I figured they would suck this year. Les Miles was basically fired, then un-fired, because there was nobody available to hire. That's a recipe for disaster. And UH isn't getting into the Big 12. Texas doesn't want Herman to stay there and have to compete with that. Herman buried the program by making it seem like a threat - lulz.
Alabama to meet with(hire?) former USC coach Steve Sarkisian Former USC coach Steve Sarkisian plans to meet with Alabama officials this week about potentially joining the top-ranked Crimson Tide's coaching staff as a special assistant to the offense, as first reported by Fox Sports and confirmed by ESPN's Chris Low. Fox Sports first reported Saturday that Sarkisian would reunite with former colleague Lane Kiffin following Alabama's 52-6 demolition of USC. Sarkisian, 42, was set to work this season for Fox Sports as a television analyst for games. Alabama officials declined to comment Sunday and wouldn't confirm that Sarkisian's hiring would be announced this week, as Fox Sports reported. Sarkisian was fired last year during the middle of his second season at USC and later sued the school for wrongful termination, alleging discrimination because of his alcoholism and breach of his contract. Sarkisian and Kiffin were co-offensive coordinators at USC under Pete Carroll in the mid-2000s. While I'm always against ND and want UT to win this one, I just don't see it. Even if UT's defense shows up, they don't have enough offense to win. If ND's offense rolls early, this could get ugly.
http://www.espn.com/ncf/qbr/_/year/2015 what is brian kelly doing kizer was rated as the 12th best qb last year and led the team to a new years six bowl. Zaire is a midget left handed qb, he was getting owned by virgina before he even got injured. He made his name off of dominating a horrible texas team last year
In the interest of fairness, he wanted to give both guys a chance in game 1. Now the whole world can clearly see who is better. Zaire should have transferred.
I'm glad the offense has played a lot better than last year's matchup. This defense has been disappointing though. Should be playing better.
I'd say our defense is doing fairly well against a tough offense like Notre Dame. Kizer is a tough player to contain.
That could be true. But you need to consider how much better ND is than SFA. Might need a bigger sample size before we know that.
Yeah. I just think Texas Tech's offense is ignored because the defense is so bad. Tech can score on anyone but can't stop a good team. UT is still impressive.
