He did have some decisions, though, that were atrocious, like the interception he threw when he tried to underhand flip the ball to a receiver several yards downfield as he was being taken down for a sack.
I'm not sure that any head coach has fallen out of favor with his fanbase quicker than Gus Malzahn with Auburn. In the national title game just a few years ago, and with a rough season this year, he very well may be sent packing.
Yes, I believe so. ____________ <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">John Franklin left FSU as a 3rd string & ended up at Auburn STILL a 3rd string.... As someone who frankly doesn't care about Auburn, can you summarize why few Auburn fans like him anymore?
Sure. Stubborn coach who runs the same 5-7 plays 90% of the time, despite overwhelmingly negative results. Hasn't developed a single QB that he recruited out of high school into a productive player. Hasn't fielded a quality defense during his time here (though tonight, admittedly, has been a nice performance). Doesn't adapt to the players he has. The 2013 season where he was our new coach, he dominated the league. His offense was unstoppable. It had the exact QB/RB/OL needed to dominate. He was spoiled by that year and thought he could swap out players to fit that same system, and it has lead to an absolutely terrible offense. He needs to adapt.
Is Gus and Auburn stealing signs again.. we know that they are known cheaters cheated againist oregon in 2010, againist fsu in 2013( and lost), againist kstate the very next year
If Gallman hadn't run out of bounds on 3rd down, Auburn would have had one play after the ball was turned over on downs.

LOL @ that tweet. Somehow Malzahn is stealing $4 million from us. What a world. As for that quote...I agree. It was very underwhelming. But that's why they need preseason polls so they can hype up early games like that.
