Believe it or not, he's worse... both with really annoying voices. Also, if you moved Sparky to TV, you'd take away his "brilliant" radio PBP that he gets to do in the 4th? and 8th? innings. It makes me nostalgic for Milo's final days... where you have no idea of what is actually going on, and you end up using the crowd noise on the radio for context clues as to whether or not its a positive play or a negative one.
Marisnick starting to have some pretty good AB's. I would drool over a Marisnick-Fowler-Springer defensive OF. Sorry Robbie (just realized that's another negative Robbie post for me... I feel bad for the guy now).
Seriously, has there ever been a worse start to a major league career than Santana, among position players?
I think Porter may have thought that. If a reliever is going to enter a tie game in the top of the ninth, and the closer is rested and healthy, he has to be the guy.
Unfortunately, I'm sure that thought crossed Porter's mind. I wanted extras to get some Folty in there. Maybe Robbie can do something about it (and if he doesn't, will this 0-5 performance be enough to get him out of the leadoff spot for good?)
