Do you get paid to just make stuff up?

The official estimate is 6200 people. The arena was about two thirds empty.

Interesting till I saw this : Nothing was "unauthorized" ... they licensed the song through a service such as BMI to play it in the arena ... and Tom's family ... which recently settled his estate in court ... gets paid for it. They would have pull the song for licensing for everyone but won't b/c of money.

He was inspired by this scene in the Pearl Harbor Documentary he watched during movie night at the White House.

False. You must not have seen the arena. Lower bowl all full, upper bowl half full, thousands standing on the floor (floor is not counted in seating). Simple math tells you it's at least 80% full, probably more.

Of course, this is despite aggressive, hostile Black Lives Matters rioters blocking the entrance and the media working overtime to COVID-scare people into staying home. Quite an amazing turnout. Biden meanwhile is hiding in his basement watching 1980's pornos.

    GOOD DAY

Maybe all political campaigns should charge, say, a $3 donation for tickets to the rallies so that they at least get some money for folks trying to sabotage expectations?

Whatever the crowd size is, it is clear that the size is far fewer than anticipated. Can not argue the fact that the outdoor stage was set up and had to be taken down.

    excerpt:

The president's appearance in Tulsa on Saturday, which did not quite fill the 19,000-seat indoor arena booked for it, is already being treated as a referendum on his re-election chances with voters in a state that he won by 36 percent four years ago. This is true even of the journalists who are happy to accept the idea that the event was not full because thousands of tickets had been assigned to young people who deliberately requested them with no plans of showing up. Whether his unpopularity, Tik-Tok shenanigans, some totally mysterious third case (e.g., people not wanting to attend a crowded indoor event at which few if any persons in the audience were likely to be wearing masks) is responsible for the lower-than-expected turnout is an open question. It is also a very boring one. Nothing confirms me in my long-held view that this president and the journalists who moan about him for a living deserve one another more than both sides' willingness to squabble about crowd figures.
