False, black people are shot 100% of the time by police. see, i can make up things and provide no proof as well. Even if you are right, provide some damn sources.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/jul/11/no-racial-bias-police-shootings-study-harvard-prof/ I believe a Harvard study done by an African American professor over anything posted in this thread.
50% of unarmed shooting deaths where white people. 34% were black. Black people make roughly 10% of the population. White people make up 60% of the population. Just from basic statistics what you are saying is wrong.
The problem with that thinking is that it is far too basic. You can't assume that everyone is equally likely to have interaction with police. For example, let's say you have numbers that show one group of people commit violent crimes at significantly higher rates than other groups....well they'd be likely to be involved in violent encounters with police as a result. There's a lot to factor in that you are glossing over in order to push a simple minded narrative.
If you have anything intelligent or valid to say, by all means. If not, probably best if you just keep drinking tea.
It's cute how bobby thinks he's smart when he makes basic inferences. Maybe one day you can learn to think more critically, or in this case, read the full article that was posted. The paper itself addresses your exact point. I know that you patted yourself on the back Bobby for that post, sorry I had to ruin your day.
So now we're ignoring the shooting and focusing on a different area where you can claim racial bias? Is that what we're doing? LOL, you crazy race baiters are hilarious. You actually think you are making a valid point. Wow.
You are the one denying racial bias exists at all. The one study that you actually decide to use as proof simultaneously still concludes that there is racism and unfair treatment by cops towards minorities. If anything, the part about violent encounters is even more trustworthy, considering there are more data points, as all shootings are violent encounters, but not all violent encounters are shootings.
Well keep the fight alive, I'm sure people will keep buying your BS and thinking that the man is holding them down. It's good for people to be concerned about that nonsense rather than actually working to improve their own lives.
Its funny how the police always say, "It was a very tragic and unfortunate thing", after each of these incident, and then the whole thing happens again a week later because the cops see "the tragic and unfortunate thing" as the guy's behavior, not the fact that a cop shot an innocent man. The cop is probably sleeping like a baby right now, telling himself he did what he had to do, and why, oh why, did this guy make him feel threatened? Let me ask the people who think there is no possibility of racial bias by the police, subconscious or otherwise... When the cops see a guy that they think looks like a vagrant, do they treat him exactly the same as a guy they encounter who looks like a fine, upstanding, wealthy corporate lawyer? If they do, but don't do it intentionally and consciously, with "malice aforethought" does it "not count"?
Classic Bobby. Gets cornered by superior arguments and then just responds with a condescending "I give up" post.
Again, people can complain and fight against the unfair treatment of minorities, and still work hard to improve their own life. It isn't mutually exclusive. And frequently by fighting against the unfair and unjust treatment of minorities people are working to improve their own lives. It improves all of our lives.
If you are a racism denier, then there isn't much that can be discussed, since racism and it's effects are well documented as existing currently.
Keep chasing that chimera if you wish....just don't get upset when people call you out for it. Everyone needs something to blame all of life's problems on I guess.
