If the Dems sweep the federal elections and pack the SCOTUS, you can have the SCOTUS strike down whatever jerrymandered nonsense the comission comes up with.

    Voter suppression ain't working

Los Angeles Times (@latimes) tweeted at 7:48 PM on Wed, Oct 28, 2020:
As of Wednesday morning, voters under 30 had cast more than 900,000 ballots in Texas, nearly three times the number as around this time in 2016.

The funny thing about the GOP is they are suppressing early voting (and actually inspiring people) , counting on a huge turn out on election day. But it's November, get crappy weather in Wisconsin or Pennsylvania and the cunning plan goes out the window.

Hasn't there been more time for early voting this year than in the past?

Invalidate vote casted by US citizens huh. This isn't suppression. Suppression is discouraging or preventing groups to votes. This is votes that have already casted and they want to invalidate them. Welcome to the new authoritarian party.

This is the third time they've challenged it. The sad part is that this was going to be the strategy the whole time. If it wasn't drive thru voting they would've focused their efforts elsewhere. Mail in ballots, mask wearers, etc. Just claim massive fraud, have your zealots repeat it in the social media chambers, and try to push conservative judges to side with you.

I'm no longer stressing about this stuff. If a party is constantly restructuring "democracy" to constantly get themselves re-elected then it ceases to be be democracy. If thats the case then a lot of us have some tough decisions to make on whether or not this is the place to be.

Texas Republicans already get a boost from partisan gerrymandering. Even if Biden wins the state, I'd be shocked if the Democrats win either the state house or state senate.

The idea of rampant voter fraud is the actual fraud. If you could easily cheat votes Trump would be all over that ****, bible in hand.

Are you denying there have been any instances of voter fraud committed by the Dems? There's a case here in Harris County https://thetexan.news/biden-campaign-operative-texas-state-senator-accused-of-mail-in-ballot-fraud/

I think it's a pointless exercise to go out and grab links to the numerous stories around the country that involve the democratic party screwing around with ballots. If you're honestly unaware of it and are interested, google is your friend. I'm running off an assumption that we all know about the stories of both D's and R's. The stories are usually D's phucking with ballots and R's suppressing voters. It's what they do.

BTW... if you go vote today in NW Harris County and a Grim Reaper jumps out at you, that's just me.....lol. Don't worry I'm not gonna kill ya. I'm just trying to suppress you from voting.:D

There have been a few cases by Democrats. It is almost non-existent. There have been cases when initially the blame was placed on Dems but it was actually Republicans. Also there are instances where the perps are unknown. But we know that GOP strategy is now and has been to suppress the vote.

We're still waiting for the evidence. You might as well be saying dems steal babies in the middle of the night for their roving pedophile circus. Of course if you said it there'd be "many people" who believe it, ie Trump voters.

Gonna get worse if Dems can’t grab the Senate and pass HR1. No stopping Republicans in Texas from discriminating against Texas residents now that the courts are all Republican and the Voting Rights Act was stripped in 2013. Texas has been a repeat offender when it comes to that aspect...but the courts are unlikely to rule against them this time around.
