For everything you did for this team / city. I know you are not the same player anymore, but we love ya and it’s time for a change. Sucks to see you trying for such a shitty team. demand a trade or release. We won’t be mad.
610 only played bits of his presser but that's the sound of a man who's hanging on by a thread and it's depressing to hear.
Well, the "Fire Bill O'Brien" thread is 4 years old. Imagine how much damage could've been averted if he'd been fired 2-4 years ago.
Wow fellas...it’s real we may never see a Houston Football team win a Super Bowl... ever...the best team we had lost to Buffalo years ago and now the y play in a different city . I’m 39 now, and it is amazing that a shitty GM set us back at least two years.
I think we're under estimating Watt's value to a contender. He's actually playing decently despite double teams and no help from his team. Add his leadership and experience to a contender, and he's still a difference maker. I have no faith Easteregg can get fair value, so we'll probably squander this trade line opportunity.
Yeah, our hope is that some small bidding war breaks out for his services for a team that thinks getting him locks up their championship chances. Maybe, if we're lucky, we can grab a 2nd. I know that sounds crazy now but I think a lot of teams playoff bound would find more value in Watt than a 2nd rounder.
My only concern is the Mcnairs thinking he's everything to Houston and that getting rid of him would be a PR disaster/ Now they would care about P.R disasters. It would be very Texansesque.
I'm thinking about creating cap space more than trade value. Although Watt should bring a 3rd in a trade. Maybe even a 2nd if the Texans were willing to throw in say a 5th.
he's going to have to demand a trade cause the city would riot otherwise. But really whats his value? considering his salary and what this team got for clowney and dhop id say we pull a 5th at best.
You don't have to do it now. You let the new GM/HC make the decisions. If you don't get what you want now, wait til the offseason.
