"Land on [space thing], bring stuff back to Earth." There have been approximately 617 movies made about this same scenerio. What could possibly go wrong?

The asteroid contains a sample of a symbiote, that once bonded with a host, cannot survive without oxygen-breathing hosts. Grants the host
super strength, the ability to heal, shape-shifting, create weapons, heightened-sensory perception, and the ability to reproduce itself.

Vulnerable to certain pitch sound and becomes a nemsis to Spiderman.

What you worry about is that they discover it's a baby asteroid. And that the mother is coming after. And that the mother f'er asteroid is right behind her. At that moment NASA redefines the term asswipe before a captive audience of billions.

The lid won't close all the way and it's leaking material as it spins away.

Maybe that asteroid has future plans for a rolling ball that's the 3rd planet from the Sun.

Can't fool me. There are no stars, just like Stanley Kubrick's moon landing.

Captured on Aug. 11 during the second rehearsal of the OSIRIS-REx mission’s sample collection event, this series of images shows the navigation camera’s (NavCam 2) field of view as the NASA spacecraft approaches and moves away from asteroid Bennu’s surface.

ok...the DART mission that just crashed into an asteroid and live-streamed it was completely badass. NASA is so freakin cool. Represents some of the best of humanity.

lol. It was kind of neat until it hit... would've been cool if they could've sent a 2nd camera behind it to actually see the impact instead of "here it comes... there's the asteroid... oh wow... closeup of the asteroid.... aaaaaaand.... end transmission". :D

There's an Italian space craft following that is supposed to confirm the impact. My guess will be some video showing this.
