Not sure where the Adelman hate is coming from. Is it just googling? Who's spreading this Adelman hate?

But what if you can only afford McDonald's and not something more classy like anything in the Landy's chain? Then its kind of you fault that your boss will not pay you enough to get a better meal.

Rick Adelman was a wonderful coach.

Crazy sad we had back to back coaches who’s children died.

Adelman ran the most beautiful offense here. He was a great coach. JVG is also a good coach, but in an absolutely different and much, much uglier way.

no, it’s not a wash...maybe to a T-Mac stan since they don’t know how to measure success

“we took them to 7 because the Lakers stopped trying”...oh please fool

Lakers were much better than any team we faced with JVG. Oh, so the Mavs and Jazz were some super elite teams? Just stop...

Bruh hang it up. You proved your idiocy and Harden dick riding level hours ago. Now you’re just digging your hole deeper and deeper. Go learn the game and not just have Harden’s dick in your mouth 25/8.

Remember when the was first hired and was photographed walking around Houston with an umbrella? It was rainy that day. For some reason, that image is burned in my brain. I guess it was in the Chronicle or something.

How did Rick Adelman get different and better role players than JVG?

Rick asked for his own players like Kevin Martin

It's amazing how people think JVG didn't cause any of his own failures during 4 years

and suddenly all his dudes dropped off the Rockets when Rick came

Do you remember squad against Mavs and Jazz vs squad against Lakers? Because I do. Not from the boxscore.

    Luis Scola
    Shane Battier
    Ron Artest
    Yao Ming
    Kyle Lowry
    Aaron Brooks
    Carl Landry
    Chuck Hayes
    Brent Barry
    Von Wafer

VERY VERY solid squad. Very balanced roster. Inside-Outside... Athletic wings, can play big and small. Add healthy T-mac to that mix and you are winning championship don't care what you say

    vs

    Yao Ming
Scott Padget (YES, ****ING SCOTT PADGET)
    T-Mac
David Wesley (old ass David Wesley on his last leg)
Bob Sura (same as David, he was constantly injured)
Ryan Bowen (im laughing at this point)
    Dikembe Mutombo
    Jon Barry
    Mike James

I don't even know how you supposed to play with that kind of roster. Spam T-mac/Yao I guess which JVG did.

IF you really gonna ignore roster differences and think that the difference between one team advancing to WC and the other not is JVG/T-Macs fault you don't know one thing about basketball. This JVG was making playoffs on pure T-Macs and Yao individual level of play. I believe our current roster is somewhere in between those two teams in terms of quality

Because idiots don't know that this is the same coach who was fired with the Rockets
Only fake Rockets fan who should leave this board permanently would bring up his Knicks stint which was before his Rocket stint

People need to realize the facts that he already failed as a Rockets coach before

I don't think you were catching my sarcasm when I was comparing McDonald's and Landy's restaurants. They both suck. And yes, JVG did bring in a lot of old Knicks. We don't have a GM who is going to spend, so it will be more of the same.
