It's unreal. It's like I missed the entire series against the Twins. We'll need Parades in this series again..we can't just leave relievers out there for 5 innings. The same fans would have complained they left him in to long if he came back and gave up a home run. The post season brings out the worst in some fans.
Hasn't gone over 2 innings this year, though he only threw 21 pitches (only went over that 4 times this year though). 5 games in 5 days means you get him, and hopefully Javier, back faster. Could be matchups. Could be Nerd Cave II told him to do it. Could be "manager's decision". Who knows?
Yep and with it being 5 games in a row, both teams are going to scrambling as things go on. You're ahead now, you can get this W with 4 more outs right now, go get it and worry about game 2 and 3 when they come.
good point. I was going to go back and say that was a dumb comment. Not so use to these pitchers these days.
You can't play to just win game one. . You play this as a 5 game series. You expect your bullpen to do its job after Parades just went two innings. Again, this is 5 straight days with no days off. We need every relief chance these guys like Parades can get.
