They tried to get Christian Wood. They didn’t intend to go small like what happened. They added the best free agents they could get to agree to come in Carroll and Green. Morris would have helped assuage the lack of a center a lot, he chose LA. Playing Bruno would have helped. Playing essentially a seven man rotation for 30+ games is why MDA is gone. His stubbornness was his undoing.

He isn’t wrong but also, sounds like someone that doesn’t want to do it again.

anybody that didnt drink the Kool-Aid knows running small ball as your exclusive set-up is trash...

The keys are in adjustments and exploiting the other teams weaknesses - not painting yourself into a corner and being to stubborn to change...

    ...imo...

Those 5 inches sure could have helped all the wide open 3's he missed or all the turnovers he made.

    Sayonara Austin.

I thought he was great in the regular season for the vet min. But damn, he was horrible in the playoffs.

    Still... he said no lies.

Yeah he ain’t lying. Size does matter. If we had more draymond green or Charles oakley types we could have fought more tough in the small ball approach

EGo didn't need any stinking 5 inches to defend Lebron.

Austin Rivers is not wrong you know anyone would know the paint is for guys like shaq the Dream AD Bam Demarcus Cousins Dwight Howards He is right he has no Business being down there battling Big Men I am sorry that why you draft 7"0 and above and also why you dont have a 6"9 PF play C underside does not always equal a win

Good. That **** was ****ing stupid. Yet people on here tried getting cute with stats talking about how teams couldn’t compete with us and we had an advantage. **** was doomed from the start. If Morey wants to run it back we will get bounced again. Small ball all game will never ever ever win. Trash ass system.

Big Centers and small-ish point guards get pushed out in this era of “Small-Ball” using predominantly SF’s
for position-less basketball. He sees the writing on the walls.

If you can’t beat em, join em (which means he needs to get about 4 inches taller).
