Has Cal ever had a real job or has he always just been in the family business? If the latter it could just be that Cal would rather keep O'brien because it's easier than having to actually interview someone new, which would require work and critical thinking, which maybe is something he's never done before. No idea if Cal even watches the games (anymore). Used to be him, Bob & Rick. Those two are gone.


Does he watch the games? Who is he watching with? Obviously he and/or Janice make the decisions but who does he talk to? Where is he getting his football information/football advice? (Obviously besides Bill & Jack whispering sweet things into his ear & in return, giving him more power.)

I could be totally wrong but I don't think Bob McNair ever gives him all this power. (But like Cal, don't think he would have fired him either at this point.)

Even if they were to fire Bill, do you trust Cal to interview/hire the right coach?
