Some might say poor coaching and roster management are even more impossibler to overcome.

It doesn't have to be the whole game. Just to get him in rhythm, incorporate pistol. Kubiak even did that with Schaubie who runs a 20 second 40.
Uptempo all game has been tried and failed by Chip Kelly. Though here, Mcnairs probably give Chip Kelly a 100 year extension for going 10-6 twice

1st and goal on the 4 and BoB calls 3 straight run plays for the 2nd worst rushing team in the league.

Why don't we trade Hopkins to improve our run game? His value is tops in the league. Surely we could get Kamara, Cook, or McCaffrey.

I just heard the announcers say the Colts just had their first 3 and out of the season. Is that even possible ?

    or

"0-4 is not where we want to be but a play here, a play there, we could easily be 2-2 and no one would be calling for Bill's job. I have complete faith in Bill & this roster, they're gonna get things turned around. Now is not the time to panic. We have a full season ahead of us and we haven't even played any division games yet."

But seriously, Cal ain't panicking or whatever.

Along with the frustrating years of the Harden Rockets, that’s pretty much Houston sports for you. The owners and fans for that matter in this city don’t care.

Everybody in the country look at our 3 championships in this city with asterisks on them. It’s sad.

3 plays for the prized RB you traded for, -1 yards.

Has Cal ever had a real job or has he always just been in the family business? If the latter it could just be that Cal would rather keep O'brien because it's easier than having to actually interview someone new, which would require work and critical thinking, which maybe is something he's never done before. Serious question.

Wait? They don't start the game off every week with a 3 and out?

I wonder how that works out for them.

We had a run game last season with a cheaper running back. Guess plug and play doesn’t really work

No idea. (@Nook could probably tell us)

No idea if Cal even watches the games (anymore). Used to be him, Bob & Rick. Those two are gone.

Does he watch the games? Who is he watching with? Obviously he and/or Janice make the decisions but who does he talk to? Where is he getting his football information/football advice? (Obviously besides Bill & Jack whispering sweet things into his ear & in return, giving him more power.)

I could be totally wrong but I don't think Bob McNair ever gives him all this power. (But like Cal, don't think he would have fired him either at this point.)

Even if they were to fire Bill, do you trust Cal to interview/hire the right coach?
