I'm sure there are principled conservatives who are in favor of this, but I guarantee you almost none of them are legislators. If a new bill overhauling the tax code to something simpler and much more difficult for the rich to avoid were to reach the floor, republican congressmen would be the ones muddying it up to serve their paymasters. true.
After going through 8 pages of nonsense, I've come to the conclusion there are dozens here who would do a much better job at audits than the IRS.
Eh, the IRS audit may have something to say about some of this. As always, he pushes past boundaries to see what he can away with, whether it’s a contractor, a vulnerable woman, of the nation of his regrettable birth.
Corn.... I totally agree with you on the paying taxes..... His changes to the Taxes have damn near killed me, but yet he doesn't pay a freaking dime... T_Man
70k in hair treatment or whatever seems insane unless he was a model or something. But he’s too fat and orange for that.
so, this is “nonsense” @spaceghost? No, some of us are pissed at the dude and pay more after his tax law than ever before. never mind what’s happened to a lot of people’s careers and incomes, including mine, after he royally ****ed the Covid response. he’s a complete conman, and the new data underline it in red pen.

This is probably a discussion for another thread but I've come around to the flat tax. The fact that we have these type of debates has a lot to do with how complicated and confusing our tax code is.
He could throw a cat in a microwave and shoot a pregnant woman in the stomach on live TV, and his cult would still find a way to rationalize it. I don't think this will make much of a difference. Most of us who hate his guts already knew all of this. He's a sleazy huckster who is extremely compromised.
Trump could disprove this "fake news" by simply releasing his tax returns that would contradict this report.
