At least if the lawyers that all his fake money buys can't get him out of it. Seems like when you start inferring in these articles, there's money laundering, to go with the tax evasion, everywhere. Drain the swamp! Lock him up! Been saying it for a while, but literally everything this guy does or says, is a projection of some crime or something similar they he's already done. Since his bankruptcies with the casinos, and then the apprentice, Trump has not been in the real estate business. Sure he a few properties that were mostly held over (even with Trump tower he doesn’t own as much of the building as you’d think), but for the most part NEW revenue is being generated via his licensing or marketing business. There are real estate shelters for sure but that’s for developers who are actually developing year over year.... not for people who bought a few buildings in 1985 with loans. Trump is waaayyy different dude. Special treatment is a huge understatement. Allowed criminality from the IRS is probably a better way of phrasing it. Someone at the IRS better lose their job over this or worse.

Probably not so much for the 70-80% that already decided. For the rest, it probably does have an impact. The Hollywood tapes bothered the once morally class more than the left and working class. But, in 2016 there were more undecided, so this has less chance of an impact on that front. However, there was the Clinton file or whatever you call it that was dropped a few hours later after the Hollywood tape that we now know was a coordinated effort. They both competed for the news cycle, reducing the impact of the Hollywood tape. NYT went on to continue to run the story on the Clinton email server and hacking for days and days - for weeks. Unless there is something that is about to drop against Biden, there is nothing negative on the Biden side to compete with this. All together, this has a much greater chance of impacting the group that much less likely to ignore it and go back to a home base.

Clearly FOX and CNN are biased in their reporting. But the fact that as of 7:00 AM CDT, the FOX News website had nothing on their front page about Trump's taxes is ludicrous. Oh, wait. I checked again before posting this and if I scroll and scroll and scroll and scroll, I find a little blurb to click on where Trump says it's fake news.
It could also be both. The fact that someone can keep pushing for a decade of audits into the hundreds of million indicate there is an issue with unclear laws and with abusing it. I also wonder who else have seen his tax returns outside of the irs auditors? That might yield new finding on legal / illegal from a new perspective.
