I used to post here a lot more. Now I just post in interesting threds here and there once in a while and then cry in game threads like the dumb b**** I am.
With regard to that whole revolt - people should not forget this is not a democracy. It's something that one person has been running at his own expense for a long time and we have all benefitted from it. Some of us might disagree with moderation decisions or the rationale behind it, but ultimately the person who runs this place makes the call, good or bad. And when one or several people think they have a right to demand different decisions in a disruptive or aggressive manner, then they are mistaken (regardless whether their opinion was right or not) and the host almost has no other choice but to remove the disruption and ban them. We are all guests here, and arguing on the Internet with people who have more buttons rarely ever leads to a winning conclusion.
Wait a tick. RM95, Swol, AB, and FB were involved too or just gone for other reasons. Wasn't FB moe's wife?
This thread started off kind of like "Driving Miss Daisy" but since the bump, it's kind of turned into John Wick! I feel like any moment now we'll finally find out "Where's Waldo" ... ....... ....... .......
You're right, labeling the entire channel was unfair on my part. It's good you're back. I didn't accuse you for being in on it, but it's understandable if I'm calling out the whole channel. That part where some one or people tried to cancel Clutch through the Rockets is mostly why I'm bothering to dig this back up.
Wow, I remember this and I’m pretty sure it was one of the reasons why I started to disengage quite a bit. I thought that it was unconscionable to ever let bobby return after the very personal attacks on Granville’s kid much less after such a short time. I was completely floored and it changed my opinion of the site. I still lurk every once in a while and, lately, I have been stupid enough to frequent the D&D but its literally the same people having the same stupid conversations every day. It’s absolutely dysfunctional and I need to stay away. The same could be said for most of the internet though. There are still a ton of really great people here but most of the people that I “grew up” with are gone and it doesn’t have the same camaraderie as during my heyday. It would be cool to be able to have a reunion of sorts. I’d rather catch up with some of those peeps than go to a high school reunion.
