You claimed Covid deaths in Texas were no big deal and were not really increasing a couple of weeks ago
Yes you did. Several times. The first time was back before the second peak, which is not over by any means, especially with schools reopening and sports starting up.
They could set up testing stations in Sturgis. One for Covid. One for IQs. Which would get the least traffic? The most scorn?
Nah it is mostly when they congregate in closely packed groups. Let’s be honest, this is just an excuse for the media to shoot fish in a barrel. Many that go to Sturgis are odd or non conformists so they are easy to make fun of and intelligence isn’t a common attribute. Having said that, Sturgis isn’t what it used to be. Drug use isn’t as common, less fights, the women get older every year and the bikers look more and more like they should be in a retirement community. Motorcycle gangs really need to step up their violence and criminal behavior. There are still some in the NE getting arrested for murder but overall their scary factor is at an all time low... no more raping and pillaging... no more human trafficking with a 50 year old having a 17 year old “b****” to pass around... what a bore.
No link necessary. Typical bigtexxx post: The meaningless deaths are so low. But Cuomo nursing homes.
lol that you had to note the year of the Waco shootout. I guess there's a been a few there over time...
Greg Abbott's state of Texas has less than 20% of the deaths per capita as Cuomo's NY. ....and some people dare to say that Cuomo did a good job? just LOL. Rely on the data...
I know the term "mouth breather" is thrown around by some as a derogatory epithet, but, in this case......
I think people just find any mass gatherings risky and unnecessary during a pandemic. I also find it hard to understand why you feel it's only liberals who cry out or get frustrated with these large gatherings. Are you saying none of those concerned about these type events are Republicans? If so, then I disagree. I know Republicans who do take this seriously and Democrats who still don't take it seriously enough. I just wish everyone cared more about trying to do all they can to stop the spread. It's not just about them, but everyone they come in contact with afterwards that could be put at risk. The difference might not be so much in the people, but more with the politicians themselves, when it comes to setting lockdowns and actually enforcing the mandates that are necessary. Some people just do as they wish, as long as it is allowed. If the police refuse to enforce the laws, or the governors don't let the mayors set stricter enforceable mandates, then it becomes a political power struggle and blame game up and down. If the governors can't do what's needed, then the blame goes back to the top. It's just a messy dangerous game to pull power plays like that when people are ending up in hospitals and coffins. I just wish everyone would do more. That starts from the top.
Stop it already with your NY crap. It really gets old. You really shouldn't be bragging about Texas so much like we are doing a great job when over 4,000 have died this past month. We are at 7% for contact tracing. That's terrible in helping to identify and stop the spread. Have some empathy and understanding of how all those poor families who lost loved ones are feeling right now. Have a heart for a change, and actually acknowledge this is not good.
My data tells me that Conroe ISD is not reopening until Sept 8...at the earliest. Not good Abbott, not good at all.
