Since the last trump lie ("Obama's fault, didn't leave me a handbook") was proven false by multiple people... a new lie/excuse...

There are actually people that believe him. He keeps saying we test more than anyone in the world. He likes that we don't test as many people as about 39 other countries because if we did, then our numbers would be so much higher. His play on words, and deliberate attempts to hide the truth make him a dangerous leader nobody can trust. Again Mr. Trump, more tests doesn't mean more per capita.

Can anyone tell me here if they do not think there would be less cases or fatalities if Obama were still president? I would really like to hear the reasoning why you think what Trump has done would be better than what you expect out of Obama and his team in the same situation.

Bush could do a better job than Trump on dealing with this virus. Anyone besides Trump associated people can do better jobs on this virus. Actually Trump is more dangerous than this virus. We will see more deaths in coming months or sooner.

Definitely. He had some cold blooded people in his cabinet but seemingly competent. Trump though seems like he is in monarchy reign with incest resulting in low IQ and obvious nepotism. But maybe that’s just me lol

Trump is good at 5 things in his Coronavirus response:

1). Encouraging and stirring up hate and civil disobedience.
    IMG_1394.jpg

Those angry people fueled by Trump should be angrier about senseless deaths, tragedies in nursing homes, and being mislead, cheated, and put in more danger from false truths and downright lies by Trump.

    2. Ignoring expert opinions, lying, and putting out his "expert in his own mind" opinions.

“Every one of these doctors said, ‘How do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability,” Mr. Trump said.

(At a March visit with doctors and researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)

    https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/28/climate/trump-coronavirus-climate-science.html

When you test, you have a case. When you test you find something is wrong with people. If we didn’t do any testing, we would have very few cases.”
    President Donald Trump

(In a speechThursday at Owens and Minor, a medical supply distributor located in Allentown, PA)

    3. Tweeting and retweeting obsessively on just about anything BUT the Coronavirus situation.

    4. Bullying & Berating anyone and everyone who dares to think different than him. Lying, hiding the truth, and deflecting any questions he can't answer.

    5. Keeping the struggling and poor down, and putting money in his pockets, and all his friends and bid donors' pockets.

Trump donor's private jet company reportedly gets $27 million bailout — the largest of any other private jet company

    https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-donor-private-jet-company-clay-lacy-27-million-bailout-2020-5

(Meanwhile, those people up in that top picture got their $1,200 supplement checks.)

Now get back to work and school, daily testing like me or not. Do it you warriors, healthcare or not, regardless of the risk to you or your family. We set safety guidelines, but stop crying if your company doesn't enforce them or the patrons disregard them. We aren't going to do anything about it.

I have your State Representatives on my puppet strings. They will do as I say. Now get to work. We can't waste our time or money testing everybody, and only a few will die. Most would have died soon anyway, and as for the kids, well it's a small number. MAGA!!

There are so many of these type headlines Trump doesn't talk about. It's heartbreaking.

23 deaths at Alabama VA home attributed to COVID-19

‘It’s a sinking ship’: COVID-19 deaths triple at state-run vets nursing home in Chester County as families clamor for information.

More Than 50 Veterans Have Died From COVID-19 At Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke.

These brave men and women who served our country deserve so much more. It breaks my heart.

Albert Berard was part of the first wave of U.S. soldiers who stormed France’s Omaha Beach on D-Day, June 4, 1944.

He walked into hell. All around Berard, men were cut down in a haze of bullets and blood. An explosion sent him to the sand and something landed on his back. It was a severed arm. He was 19.

Nearly 76 years later, Berard lay in his bed in a Massachusetts nursing home dying from complications of COVID-19. He passed away without family at his side on April 27. He was 95.

“These men risked going to war and dying in a foreign place all alone, and now they’re dying away from home without anyone,” says his son, Wayne-Daniel Berard, 68. “We know this generation is old and dying. But they deserve to have people around them. That’s the heartbreaking thing.”

Trump wants to portray himself as a hero, and his foot soldiers spreading hate, fear, and disobedience as his warriors. What an insult to those poor Veterans who are now fighting for their lives on American soil, and dying needlessly in homes meant to take care of them. As a retired Veteran, this hits home. I pray for everyone Trump ignores. God Bless America. We need you more than ever now.

Make more money, even if it risks your safety, and everyone around you!!

Trump rules limiting truck driver hours

Teamsters President James P. Hoffa said letting truck drivers work longer hours “puts everyone on the roads at risk.”

Cathy Chase, president of Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety, called the changes “dangerous and deadly detractions from current safety policies.”
    https://mynews4.com/news/nation-world/trump-administration-eases-rules-limiting-truck-driver-hours

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration extended the maximum working day for short-haul drivers from 12 hours to 14 hours and expanded how far they can drive in a day.

    To make it worse...
For long-haul drivers, the regulator will let work other than driving — such as loading or unloading, filling out paperwork, or communicating with an employer or customer — count toward a mandatory 30-minute break after eight hours of driving. Currently drivers must go off-duty during breaks.

This is the state cost for our dip$hit-in-chief's abdication of federal leadership when it was most needed...multiply this by 50

Texas spends $45 million on 300,000 coronavirus tests

In a glimpse into the cost of coronavirus testing, the state of Texas is paying $45 million for 300,000 oral-swab tests — or $150 per test, according to a purchase order obtained by the American-Statesman through an open records request.

So far, 80,000 of the tests have been sent to Texas prisons, which have been bedeviled by outbreaks.

The April 30 purchase agreement is with San Diego-based Gothams LLC, and includes the processing of tests at the private lab of Curative, Inc., according to Seth Christensen, spokesman for the Texas Department of Emergency Management, which made the purchase.

Officials with Gothams and Curative, a Los Angeles-based startup, were not immediately available for interviews Wednesday.

Christensen said part or all of the purchase may be eligible for federal reimbursement. The purchase price includes the processing of each test.

The price tag agreed to by the state for the prison tests is roughly three times as high as the cost of COVID-19 tests listed on a pricing bulletin distributed by Medicare in mid-March.

The prices for health care providers and laboratories to test patients for COVID-19, according to the Medicare bulletin, was $35.92 for the tests developed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and $51.33 for all other commercial tests.

LOL, for that ROI you might as well just assume everybody has COVID 19 and buy them $150 worth of Masks/Remdesvir or 7.62 mm bullets & bleach injections, depending on their political preference.
